How to cooking South Indian Onion Sambar dish?
Anybody Children not eat with in food. This dish is very easy to cook. Child eat with very intresting. This dish cook in very easy.
1. Redgrams :100grms
2. Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
3. Asafoetida : 5grm
4. Garlic: 6nos
5. Onion: 1 big onion (cut in small pieces)
6. Tomato: 1no (cut in small pieces)
7. Tamarind: 50grm
8. Green Chilli: 2nos (cut in 1/2)
9. Oil-1 tsp
10. Salt to taste
11. curry leaves, coriander leaves
12. mustard and cumin: 1/4tsp
Take a Pressure cooker put in rebgram, turmeric powder, asafoetida, garlic, Onion, Tomato, Green chilli, add 2 cups of water. 5 whistles redgram is cooked. After 5 minutes open the cooker put in jar and smashing mixed in Tamarind water. Heat the oil temper with the cumin and mustard, curry leaves, coriander leaves, red chilli, Onion(small cut it)to fry golden color. Add in redgram smashing Add salt to taste and add just enough water to make it medium thick. After 5 minutes close the gas. A main course item which is mixed with rice and eaten or it can be used as a side dish almost any other like Idly, Doosa, vadai, Chapathis, Poori etc..
